What is Motability?
Motability is a nationwide scheme designed to help people with mobility issues spread their wings. Anyone who qualifies for the scheme can choose a brand new car, have it modified to suit their needs, and enjoy a range of other benefits.
Am I Applicable? As long as you receive a qualifying disability allowance that has at least 12 months’ award time remaining, you’ll be eligible for Motability.

If you receive one of the following allowances and it’s valid for at least 12 months, you’ll qualify for the scheme:

Is there a Motability age limit?

No. Provided you receive one of four qualifying allowances, and it has at least 12 months left, you’re welcome to apply for the scheme. ​​
